When a young solicitor travels deep into the Carpathian Mountains to conclude the purchase of an English estate, he unwittingly awakens an ancient darkness.

Those closest to him find themselves drawn into a terrifying battle against a force that feeds upon fear, desire and the very essence of life itself.

In this haunting adaption of Bram Stoker's classic novel by Liz Lochhead, love and courage are tested as the shadows close in and the line between the living and the damned begins to disappear.

The Phoenix Players is a friendly amateur dramatic society and registered charity based in Portsmouth.

Since 1953, we've been bringing people together through theatre, producing four shows each year.
